At e-conomic, we provide a cloud accounting product to more than 130.000 small businesses. With more than 1.200 API integrations to third parties, and multiple bank and e-invoice integrations, we invest heavily in platform extensibility and a rich ecosystem for third party developers.

It’s important to us that we give our customers the best support and the service they need in order to run their business efficiently. To help us with this, we are now looking for someone to take responsibility of our API support and make sure we give our customers the best possible service whilst using the e-conomic API’s.

You’ll be embedded directly in our development team based in Copenhagen, and together with your team members you will ensure that we deliver the best integration possibilities to partners and customers, as well as to internal development teams.

You might have a background in customer support or you have deep knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping. You are curious and eager to learn new things, and you are attracted to tech and to what happens under the hood. No matter which background you have, you like interacting with other people, and take pride in delivering service of high quality. You will go the extra mile to understand the customers’ needs and challenges in order to give them the best possible service. You have great communication skills and can provide relevant and understandable answers to complex problems. You are tech-savvy, and enjoy trouble-shooting.

You will work in a position where you never know what the day will bring; some days will be quiet, others more action-packed. You need to be able to keep calm under pressure, focus on maintaining a good communication flow both internally and externally and constantly prioritize your tasks according to urgency.

In this position there will be several ways to grow and develop new skills. Your responsibilities in the team will grow with you. The responsibilities listed below are a minimum.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all incoming support requests from our integration partners regarding our REST and SOAP API

  • Trouble-shoot and technically groom support requests

  • Escalate issues when needed and make sure communication to partners runs smoothly during emergencies

  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure we develop high quality features

Requirements

  • Service-minded and customer-oriented

  • The ability to understand the accounting domain, as well as a company’s main business processes

  • An interest and flair for IT

  • Basic knowledge of SOAP, REST and network protocols is an advantage.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Danish and English

  • Good at trouble-shooting

  • Structured and self-organising

Visma e-conomic resides on Christianshavn in central Copenhagen, and is part of Visma. We build and design a cloud-based accounting product that helps companies run their businesses. More than 130,000 happy customers use our product on a regular basis. We are 190 employees from +25 nationalities.

The development department consists of 55+ people, including Product Owners, Test Automation Engineers and UX designers, working with technologies like C#, Node.js, React, MS-SQL, Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java and MongoDB. Our services are hosted on Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon.

We serve more than 50 million requests a day, push to production several times a week, love to talk about (and write) code, believe strongly in automation, and are driven by a desire to measure and monitor in order to constantly improve our product.
