Marketing Data Specialist

We not only love customer data – we also have a lot of it. In the Upsales & NPS department in Visma e-conomic, we are 12 specialists driving marketing and communication activities targeted towards more than 160.000 customers that use e-conomic as their accounting system. We are already data driven in most of our communications but we are ready to take it to the next level. To do this, we need your help. You will play a key role in:
Knowing our customer data and providing actionable insights and data to project managers and other specialists working on upsales campaigns throughout the customer journey.
Spreading knowledge and collaborating closely with other specialists both outside and within the Upsales and NPS department, ranging from data analysts, developers and marketing automation people, to copywriters, designers, and project managers.
Contributing to establishing and maintaining a strong MarTech setup centered around our data platform and across communication channels.
In this role, you will:
You will play a key role in enabling usage of the data we have and also contribute to making even more data available in our marketing execution platforms. In doing this, you will be the link between data experts, projects managers, content producers, and other stakeholders in our organisation:
Advise project managers and content producers on the possibilities of utilising our data
Have a solid understanding of our various data and contribute to finding cases that can increase upsales and product usage
Ensure high quality in data deliveries for our data platform through testing
Be a “segmentation expert” that knows our customer data well and can give suggestions on how to to employ it in marketing campaigns
Help with data mapping and technical specs for developers (i.e. help get new data for our direct sales and marketing systems)
Perform hands-on segmentation for campaigns in various channels
Help finding the right target audience for our upsales communications.
Have a focus on how we can use our data to increase upsales/ARPC
We are looking for someone who:
Ideally, we are looking for someone who understands databases and SQL, and still knows marketing lingo. Further, our new colleague will most likely:
Have 2-5 years of experience working with data in marketing or CRM
Find it natural to work in a structured manner
Want to work with data for marketing and communications purposes, and not just for performance and reporting
Feel inspired when discovering data that can give new, useful insights
Understands how to translate data from different data sources into usable formats for marketing automation tools.
Have an eye for detail and quality
Be fluent in a nordic language or understand Danish well
It will be an extra advantage if you also:
Have knowledge about account based marketing and the CRM discipline
Have an understanding of B2B marketing and the Danish market
Have knowledge about integrations between platforms and systems
Has experience with working with large data sets – preferably from a customer database
You will become part of the department “Upsales & NPS” where we are 15 colleagues working closely across 2 teams. We have a friendly and respectful work culture and value diversity a lot. You will join the “Technical Upsales” team and work closely with other data experts and marketing automation specialists.
